TC Freedom 104 led the way in the show and sale ring. He was the sire of the top three selling bulls, including the high-selling Grand Champion Angus Bull, born in November of 2004, that was consigned by Pohlman Angus of Norfolk, NE, and sold for $8,000 to Mick Jameson, Minden, NE. The second high-selling bull was a January yearling bull consigned by Groth Angus, St. Edward, NE, that sold to Delbert Raile, St. Francis, KS, for $5,100. Pohlman Angus also exhibited the Reserve Champion, a January 2005 bull that sold for $5,000 to Charles Houtby, Wobach, NE. Other bulls topping the sale were the Sr. Bull Calf Champion, a March 2004 son of BR Midland, consigned by A&B Cattle Co., Bassett, NE, and selling to White Ranch, Elsmere, NE, for $4,800, followed by the $4,700 son of Hoff First Edition 058 242 consigned by Jindra Angus, Clarkson, NE, that sold to Leon Vogel, Gothenburg, NE and another TC Freedom 104 son from Sonderup Angus that sold for $4,200 to Bill Hilton, Buffalo, WY. The entire group of bulls averaged $3,266.

There was a quality consignment of Angus heifers that averaged $3,156, which was an increase of over $500 from last year's sale. Topping the sale was the Grand Champion Angus Female, a January Connealy Lead On daughter, consigned by Sand Dune Cattle Co., LLC, Sargent, NE, and purchased for $7,800 by Alan Forster, Smithfield, NE. Other heifers topping the female portion of the Angus sale were a pair of TC Freedom 104 daughters that sold for $5,100. One earned Reserve Champion Angus Female honors and was consigned by A&B Cattle Co., selling to Troy Alexander, Pawnee, IL, while the other was consigned by Fred’s Angus and sold to Tom Lauterbach, Van Meter, IA.
